REVEREND WINDHORSE

OUR YOUNG WARRIORS

Love belongs between people that lay their life on the line; whatever way they do it.

Our Angelo is away from home and serving this beautiful country.

As you say a prayer for your own; include our boy and his mates and superiors.

We too, remember yours.

As we gathered for Thanksgiving, we watched a video of Angelo and his Mates graduating from Boot Camp.  We saw the events unfold as Families, Friends and our Sailor went out for their first day off the base.  Later we also spoke to Angelo on the phone.  As I watched, as I heard his deep baritone voice, I realized the fullness of my heart...the pride and gladness that richly pervades my being for the dignity I see him bring to himself, his uniform, our Family and this United States.  He and his Mates grace all of us.

What a tremendous commitment and courage it takes to devote one's life to Service.

God/dess keep them safe, and create personal evolution for each of them.

This walking warrior is going the way of the Peace Pilgrim; putting all his energy and intention in simply walking his talk...across America and back; never forgetting ~ always reminding everyone he meets that we need to cultivate Peace in every heart on this planet so no person need raise a weapon, fist or foot  in their defense ever again.

remind you of somebody?

She walked back and forth over the USA 10 times, speaking to people about Peace, sleeping in the elements and eating only if someone offered her food.

"There is no glimpse of the light without walking the path. You can't get it from anyone else, nor can you give it to anyone. Just take whatever steps seem easiest for you, and as you take a few steps it will be easier for you to take a few more."....Peace Pilgrim

We gather and honor the young man who leaves home, and stand in Blessing of him, his mates, all service people, the USA, and the Glorious Lady Earth.

I received a mailing that people are wearing red on Fridays to assert and advertise their support of our Troops.  That's a great Tribal Way to communicate and rally ourselves.  I need to add some white also, for a reminder that although I support our precious warriors, I petition for Peace in all Hearts.

One of the greatest tribes on the planet!!

It's lonely without our Boys and Girls at home.

Peace is more than absence of war.
