The Beauty of Royal Carribean's

FREEDOM   OF   THE   SEAS

These amazing planes suspended over the Promenade were the first sight we saw when we entered the ship.

Exquisite MOSAICS grace the walls

The group made good use of these beautiful pools...I'm a hold-out for hot springs and ocean.

Talk about a grand staircase!!!

Windhorse loves the WIND!!  Our canoe gave me plenty...followed by distinctive hairdos!!

Father Sea is indeed the sight of all sights!

And oh, as we travelled...the color changed from Indigo to Azure...such a privilege to see!

At the landing of each staircase in the Aft? of the ship displays of art, photography, crystals, shells; all the species of Nautilus...the Four Cardinal Elements are represented and explained:  Fire, Water, Earth, Air...I didn't find all, but the Astrological Signs are honored on these walls!

And Jacket with Wallet and dusty Boots made of WOOD!  They've 'gotta' be my favorite!  I just can't help myself...shades of the old dusty West; they portray courage and fortitude; of shelter and shielding from the elements, from snake bite and prickle of cacti.

A whimsical Scorpion from the Kingdom of Turkish Towel ushered in our Son's Birthday!  I believe it was the first day of Scorpio that this was made for us by our gracious Chamber Goddess.  She tirelessly turned down the beds in evening and in late morning, dressed them with pillows and scarf.  Although we left our towels on the towel bars, they were replaced each day.  Directions given were that if towels were left on the floor then they would be replaced, and if hung on the rack, would be left to use again.  We'll have to work on that one...there is a movement for saving water, soap, energy by using our towels more than one day.  I'm in favor of that!

This beautiful young lady gave me a facial.  The only thing wrong with it was that it had to end!  Expensive formulas were used to soften, firm, and smooth.  After all was done, the products were recommended according to personal needs.  They were way out of my budget, refreshing though they were!

Be not forgotten the Food Art!

My photography warrants improvement, but this is such a cute picture of Senor Scarpino!  Look at that silvery Brillo Brush!

So many pictures...more to come!

Each picture has to be resized when I put it on this page...very time consuming; I know there's gotta be an easier way, in this Cyber World...but as yet it's not in my repetoire.

It's fun revisiting the experience of Freedom of the Seas, and the wonderful Graduates of West Hempstead High School!

"West Hempstead, we shall ne'er forget,

"E'en when the doors of Life begin to close...

"The hours spent ~ Within thy Walls;

"The Friendships made within thy Halls...

[did we find all the words yet?  where's my "Westerly?"  It's in there!]

With Reverence for All Life, Gratitude for an uncommon Experience, and the Privilege to still know and cavort with friends from Grammar and High School!

Love,

Irene
