  Hallowe'en

Aboard the Freedom of the Seas

The WINNERS!!!

Out of 2500+ passengers...though comparatively few had the nerve to step out of their carefully arrayed personas...our group was well represented, and Miss Piggy (Arlene ) and Kermit (Winston) took First Prize!

That's a "onesy"  Winnie's or Arlene's Grandchild donated!  hehehe

What was Gwen up to?  That Girl was always into something!

hmmm...what was Padre Reisterer up to??...Sister Jeanette was Nun for you!

The Pinkies had the rythm and style a-goin'

That "fast Girl" Diana was so proud of her hickey!

Oh, we crack me up!!!

Can you see why the Soog and Irene were destined to fall in love?

As I photo'd the pumpkins, a Waiter offered to take my picture among the ambiance...I fit in rather well, don't I?  lol...windblown hair and all...He told me an interesting custom about standing on the left of statues, etc when being photographed.  I am wracking my brain to remember!  Anyone?

The Crew had an early Hallowe'en celebration on October 30th and carved all these pumpkins...they had a contest for who's pumpkin was most popular.  They were phenomenal!

That was so much fun I almost forgot to go eat Breakfast! (yeah, right!)

The Third Deck had an enormous centerpiece, and this pumpkin-faced witch was the center of attraction

We met Kenny and Carolyn in the Chapel on the 15th Deck!  Kenny's Dad treated the whole family to the cruise, and was headed for another when he debarked from Freedom of the Seas...Kenny remarked how grateful he was to his Dad, and also to himself for accepting the invitation.  His Dad was dressed like a 'jailbird'!

I met my "sister" on the way back to the Stateroom...the rest of the gang went to parade and compete...I was ready to wash the rest of my corn flakes, green clay and hair glue off my face!  All night I too convincingly was able to say, "I'm mel-ting...mEL-tinnnnngg" as my green "skin" fell off.

...and moonin' was a favorite pastime of many WHHS students when we attended!
